A typical install is 3–5 days on-site. Before that, we spend ~90 minutes doing the heat loss survey and a further day on system design. We book the install to suit your diary — holiday weeks, school half-terms, whenever disruption lands softest.
Most homes work fine once the system is designed properly — the failures you read about are almost always undersized designs or radiators that can't shed heat at low flow temperatures. We won't install one in a home where the maths doesn't stack up. Our survey tells you honestly before you commit.
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 toward an air-source heat pump install for eligible homes. We apply on your behalf as an MCS-certified installer, and the grant is applied to the invoice — you never handle the paperwork.

Honestly, it depends. If the boiler is under 2 years old and in warranty, Essential (£12.99/mo) is usually enough — it covers the annual service that keeps the warranty valid. Older boilers, or a whole heating system, are where Complete and Complete+ pay for themselves.
